Job Title: Maintenance Superintendent 

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead our maintenance department in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance and proven leadership skills. This is a hands-on role where the Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the entire maintenance department, ensuring equipment reliability, and managing a team of skilled technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of maintenance technicians.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure the team meets maintenance goals.
• Maintenance Operations:
• Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement.
• Hands-On Technical Expertise:
• Utilize technical expertise to assist the team in diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks as needed to support the team.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of maintenance professionals.
• While a degree is not required, relevant certifications or technical training in maintenance-related fields are a plus.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to interact with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
