Maintenance Superintendent
Job Description
Our client is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Superintendent to lead and manage all aspects of maintenance operations at their manufacturing facility. This role requires prior leadership experience in maintenance, a strong understanding of plant equipment and reliability, and a proactive approach to team management and equipment uptime. A four-year degree is not required—proven leadership and technical ability are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure minimal downtime and efficient performance of machinery and equipment.
- Lead, develop, and coach a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
- Implement and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to support production goals.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a maintenance leadership role (Supervisor, Superintendent, or similar).
- Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and PLC-driven systems.
- Experience in any manufacturing environment—industry flexibility will be considered.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and team performance.
