We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Supervisor. As a Safety Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our employees and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing safety procedures and will work closely with the Safety Manager to uphold our commitment to a safe and secure work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee safety policies, procedures, and protocols to prevent accidents and incidents within the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
• Train and educate employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of safety equipment.
• Investigate and report on-the-job accidents, injuries, and near misses. Develop and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with department managers to address safety concerns and provide guidance on best practices.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, training sessions, and inspections.
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote a safety-conscious culture among employees.
• Stay informed about new developments in safety regulations and industry best practices.

Competitive salary: $65,000 per year

Bonus potential: Up to 10% based on performance

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees and management.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify potential hazards and implement effective solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Prior manufacturing experience required.
• Relevant safety certifications are a plus.
