Quality Assurance Supervisor
Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to oversee and ensure the quality and safety of products manufactured in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industry. Your specific duties may include:
- Supervising a team of quality control inspectors and ensuring that they perform their tasks effectively.
- Developing and implementing quality control processes, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conducting regular inspections of the manufacturing process to ensure that quality standards are being met.
- Investigating any issues with product quality, identifying the root cause of the problem, and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintaining accurate records of quality control activities and producing reports for management review.
- Providing training and guidance to employees on quality control procedures and requirements.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as production and engineering, to ensure that quality control standards are integrated into all aspects of the manufacturing process.
$65,000 - $75,000 + 10% bonus
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred), such as food science, chemistry, or engineering, as well as at least three years of experience in quality control or assurance in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. You must also have previous leadership or supervision experience, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
