Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in fluid processing to join our team. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing fluid processing systems and equipment. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in fluid processing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop fluid processing systems, including piping networks, pumps, valves, and heat exchangers, to meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and modeling to ensure the efficient and effective performance of fluid processing equipment.
• Perform hydraulic and thermodynamic analyses to optimize fluid flow, pressure, and temperature within the systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers and project managers, to develop specifications and requirements for fluid processing systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to support decision-making in the design and implementation of fluid processing projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for construction, installation, and operation of fluid processing systems.
• Review and analyze equipment and system performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement design modifications and enhancements.
• Perform risk assessments and participate in safety reviews to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of fluid processing systems.
• Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to fluid processing technologies and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fluid processing, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles.
• Proficiency in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant design and analysis software.
• Experience with process instrumentation, control systems, and process automation is a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards related to fluid processing, such as ASME, API, or ANSI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and optimize complex fluid processing systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, while ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
