Job Description

A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial construction projects valued at $10MM or more. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership, budgeting, and contract negotiation skills. A four-year degree is not required—we are looking for proven, hands-on expertise. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource planning
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including securing required permits and licenses
  • Negotiate and manage agreements, contracts, and vendor relationships
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Report on project progress and maintain documentation throughout all phases

Job Requirements

 

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • Proven track record managing individual projects of $10MM or greater
  • Strong knowledge of construction planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
  • Exceptional negotiation skills for contracts, agreements, and permitting
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure alignment across departments
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Technical training or certifications preferred)

Preferred:

  •  
  • Experience managing construction within or for manufacturing companies
  • Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, etc.)
