Job Description

Leading manufacturing company seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a hands-on professional with experience in manufacturing environments and a strong background in PLC programming.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency and system reliability.
  • Conduct system testing, debugging, and modifications as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • 4-year degree NOT required—hands-on experience and technical knowledge preferred.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with HMI development, SCADA systems, and industrial automation.
  • Knowledge of robotics, motion controls, and electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and IoT technologies is a plus.
