We are seeking a highly experienced senior level Engineering Project Manager to lead the execution of complex capital projects across a diverse industrial manufacturing network. This role is responsible for delivering large-scale engineering initiatives from early concept development through construction, commissioning, and final project closeout.

You will partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Quality, Procurement, Finance, and external contractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with long-term operational objectives. This position is ideal for a strategic, results-driven leader with a strong background in industrial capital project delivery and stakeholder management.

• Lead multi-disciplinary capital projects focused on capacity expansion, modernization, reliability, safety, and cost optimization
• Develop and execute detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
• Own full project lifecycle delivery, from feasibility and design through commissioning and operational handoff
• Establish and manage capital budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
• Track and report project costs, progress, and performance metrics
• Lead formal change management processes, including scope, schedule, and cost adjustments
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect outcomes
• Coordinate engineering design efforts to ensure constructability, operability, and compliance with internal standards
• Collaborate closely with plant operations and maintenance teams to ensure long-term reliability and safety
• Oversee construction, installation, and commissioning activities to ensure alignment with design intent
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all project phases
• Ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, and internal policy requirements
• Support contractor selection, bid development, and vendor evaluation processes
• Manage contractor performance across safety, quality, schedule, and cost metrics
• Oversee contract administration, including invoicing, documentation, and project closeout
• Serve as the primary liaison between site leadership, corporate stakeholders, and external partners
• Provide regular updates, forecasts, and risk assessments to leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related discipline)
• 8+ years of experience managing capital or engineering projects in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated success delivering multi-million-dollar capital projects
• Strong expertise in project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in operational environments

Preferred experience:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience in bulk material handling, processing, or heavy industrial operations
• Familiarity with environmental permitting and regulatory compliance
• Experience with project management and reporting tools (e.g., scheduling software, ERP systems, analytics platforms)
