We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Safety and Quality Supervisor to oversee food safety and quality assurance processes. This role ensures compliance with USDA regulations, HACCP requirements, and internal quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset, hands-on leadership, and a strong commitment to food safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily food safety and quality operations to ensure compliance with USDA regulations and HACCP programs.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of the production floor, verifying adherence to company food safety and quality procedures.
• Lead and coordinate the implementation, monitoring, and verification of HACCP plans.
• Train and guide plant personnel on food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Investigate and report on non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality deviations; drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation for food safety and quality programs, including USDA and internal audits.
• Assist the Quality Manager with regulatory inspections and third-party audits.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive food safety practices.

Qualifications:

• USDA and HACCP experience required.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, and sanitation standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Associate degree or higher in a related field is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment:

• Primarily based in a production environment with exposure to cold, wet, or humid conditions.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
