Reports To: Technical Manager
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our client’s maintenance team and ensure optimal performance of all manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong organizational and managerial skills, capable of driving efficiency, reliability, and safety across the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage maintenance operations within a large manufacturing environment.
- Lead a team of 7 direct reports and provide guidance for a department of up to 70 employees.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage maintenance budgets, resources, and capital improvement projects.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and technical teams to support operational goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and process efficiency.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree (AA) minimum; technical or engineering field preferred.
- 10+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of management experience leading teams in a maintenance or technical setting.
- Proven track record of managing large teams and complex operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of maintenance best practices, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
