A growing manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead facility and equipment maintenance activities within a production environment. This position is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, driving equipment reliability, managing capital and maintenance improvement initiatives, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The Maintenance Manager will provide leadership to maintenance personnel while developing strategies that improve asset performance and support long-term operational objectives. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and manage all maintenance department activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and extend asset life.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment performance, maintenance effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Supervise, coach, train, and develop maintenance personnel to support departmental and organizational goals.
• Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, asset histories, and equipment performance data.
• Oversee facility maintenance projects and ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Support process improvement efforts and contribute to long-range operational and capital planning.
• Coordinate and manage contractors, service providers, and external vendors performing maintenance-related work.
• Monitor maintenance expenditures and identify opportunities for cost control and process optimization.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and operations teams to support plant performance objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant maintenance leadership experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing, food processing, agricultural, industrial, or related production environment.
• Experience managing maintenance teams, budgets, and equipment reliability programs.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Experience utilizing CMMS platforms and maintenance management systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and industrial maintenance best practices.
• Ability to travel periodically to support other facilities or business operations as needed.
