Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee the maintenance operations of a food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all equipment and systems while managing a team of 2 Superintendents and over 75 maintenance personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 2 Superintendents and over 75 maintenance team members to ensure operational efficiency.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company policies, including food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Lead capital projects and equipment upgrades to support business growth
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field).
- Prior experience in food manufacturing is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation systems preferred.
- Proven leadership ability in managing large maintenance teams.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
