Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations in our food and beverage manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and leading a team to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all maintenance operations, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure all equipment and machinery are operating safely and efficiently to meet production demands.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize disruptions to production.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain operational standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Prior management experience in a maintenance role required.
  • Experience in food or beverage manufacturing is required.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Education: 

  • A four-year degree is not required, but relevant technical training or certifications are a plus.
