Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee maintenance operations at a food/beverage manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, particularly with PLC systems, and a proven ability to manage maintenance teams in a fast-paced production environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including PLC-controlled systems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, inventory of spare parts, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental policies.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance technical skills and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing is required.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Experience leading a maintenance team in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • A four-year degree is NOT required, but relevant experience is essential.
