Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations within their facility. This role reports directly to the Plant Manager and leads a team of approximately 35 maintenance technicians and support staff.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, develop, and manage a maintenance team to ensure optimal equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for all plant equipment and systems.
  • Oversee maintenance budgets, parts inventory, and contractor relationships.
  • Implement safety and continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and production teams to support manufacturing goals.

Reporting Structure:

Reports directly to the Plant Manager and is part of the plant leadership team.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment (any industry considered).
  • Strong hands-on technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Four-year degree not required; equivalent experience strongly valued.
