Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Planner. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in manufacturing, with a strong focus on planning and coordinating maintenance activities. This role will manage the parts department and support the maintenance team in ensuring smooth operations. Leadership experience is a plus, but a four-year degree is not required. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities.
  • Manage the inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians to prioritize and plan repair tasks.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Monitor and track maintenance activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Develop and maintain records of work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase equipment reliability.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members as needed.

Job Requirements

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (4-year degree not required).
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on maintenance planning.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience managing inventory or parts departments is preferred.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance software and basic computer applications.
