Job Description

Our client is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Superintendent to lead and manage all aspects of maintenance operations at their manufacturing facility. This role requires prior leadership experience in maintenance, a strong understanding of plant equipment and reliability, and a proactive approach to team management and equipment uptime. A four-year degree is not required—proven leadership and technical ability are paramount.

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure minimal downtime and efficient performance of machinery and equipment.
  • Lead, develop, and coach a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
  • Implement and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to support production goals.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

 

  • Prior experience in a maintenance leadership role (Supervisor, Superintendent, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and PLC-driven systems.
  • Experience in any manufacturing environment—industry flexibility will be considered.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and team performance.
