Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team in a food manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with strong leadership skills, and a background in food or beverage manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, including scheduling, assignments, and equipment repairs
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in a safe and timely manner
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians on the proper use of tools and equipment, safety procedures, and best practices
• Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure equipment downtime is minimized, and production targets are met
• Monitor and manage maintenance inventory levels, order parts and equipment as needed
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, including maintenance costs, equipment downtime, and repair schedules
• Participate in the hiring, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions of maintenance staff
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a maintenance supervisor role in a food or beverage manufacturing plant
• Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures, including preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and repair techniques
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in using computer programs, including maintenance management software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
