We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage maintenance operations in a food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in food production environments and a strong ability to lead a team while ensuring optimal equipment performance and facility upkeep. 

Key Responsibilities 

Team Leadership:

• Supervise, train, and support a team of up to 10 maintenance personnel.
• Conduct performance evaluations, assign tasks, and foster a culture of safety and collaboration.

Maintenance Operations:

• Plan, schedule, and oversee routine and preventative maintenance for all equipment and facility systems.
• Ensure quick resolution of equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and food manufacturing standards.
• Conduct regular safety training and enforce safety protocols within the maintenance team.

Inventory and Budget Management:

• Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies to ensure availability while controlling costs.
• Monitor maintenance budgets and optimize resource allocation for cost efficiency.

Continuous Improvement:

• Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify and address maintenance-related challenges.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Technical certifications or training in maintenance or engineering are a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in maintenance roles within a food manufacturing environment, with supervisory experience preferred.

Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and basic proficiency in MS Office.
