Position Title: Plant Manager 

Reports To: Director of Operations 

Position Summary:

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of a manufacturing facility with approximately 300 - 400 employees. This position ensures that production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards and company objectives. The Plant Manager provides leadership to all plant departments, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
• Ensure achievement of production schedules, cost objectives, and quality standards.
• Drive a strong safety culture through effective training, communication, and accountability.
• Develop and manage plant budgets, controlling costs and optimizing resource utilization.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with corporate leadership on strategic planning, capital projects, and long-term operational goals.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven work environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Food Science, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven success in managing production operations of comparable size and complexity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma preferred).
• Excellent financial and analytical acumen.
