Job Description

Our company is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee and manage our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in food/beverage/rx manufacturing. As the Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured to meet quality standards, and implementing processes to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the manufacturing process from raw materials to finished products
  • Ensure that products are manufactured to meet quality standards and customer specifications
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage and train production staff to ensure they are properly trained and equipped to perform their job duties
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet demand
  • Work with other departments such as procurement, quality control, and engineering to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of resources
  • Manage inventory levels and work with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of raw materials
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FDA, USDA, and OSHA regulations
  • Prepare reports on production performance and make recommendations for improvements

Pay range: $95,000 - $115,000

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as engineering or business) is required
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing management experience is required
  • Prior experience in food/beverage/rx manufacturing is required
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
  • Knowledge of FDA, USDA, and OSHA regulations
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
