Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations at a food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on knowledge of food production processes, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. A degree is not required, but prior experience in food manufacturing is essential. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and efficiency goals
  • Supervise and lead production staff, ensuring proper training and adherence to company policies
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards
  • Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and inventory teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and machinery

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in a food manufacturing environment (required)
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a production setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and manufacturing standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours or shifts as needed
