Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager with prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations within our production facility, ensuring that production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 30 employees and requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Production Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations to ensure production targets are met on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 30 production employees, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize waste.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations are strictly followed to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, maintenance, supply chain, and HR, to support operational success.
  • Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of personnel, materials, and equipment to maximize production efficiency.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze production data, and adjust strategies as needed to meet company objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, with a strong preference for experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
  • Education:
    • 4-year degree in a related field (such as Food Science, Engineering, Business Management) is highly preferred.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Proven experience in managing teams of 30 or more employees, with a focus on employee development, motivation, and performance management.
  • Problem Solving:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve operational issues in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with industry-standard production equipment, technology, and safety protocols.
  • Communication:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with all levels of staff and leadership.
  • Flexibility:
    • Ability to work varying shifts and respond to production demands as necessary.
