We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee our dynamic production team, including three supervisors and a team of 100 employees. This role is critical in ensuring our production operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, meeting our high standards of quality and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing, with a proven track record of leading large teams to achieve exceptional results. A degree is preferred, along with extensive experience in the food manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring products meet the company's quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a large team, including three supervisors, to achieve production targets and objectives.
• Develop and implement production schedules and resource allocation to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate production processes for improvements in efficiency, cost, and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, standards, and best practices, including HACCP and FDA regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to optimize production processes and product quality.
• Manage and develop team members, providing training, setting performance standards, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve processes.
• Prepare and manage the production budget, including labor, materials, and overhead costs, to ensure financial targets are met.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to production challenges, implementing corrective actions as needed.

• Significant experience in food manufacturing, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role overseeing large teams.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations, with experience managing compliance in a food production environment.
• Proficient in production planning and inventory management systems.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by production schedules.
