The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production of food products in compliance with USDA regulations and standards.

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of production, including processing, packaging, labeling, and shipping.
• Manage a team of production supervisors and workers, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure that all production goals are met.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to ensure that orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure that all aspects of the production process are functioning efficiently.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to prevent breakdowns or production delays.
• Monitor and control production costs to meet budgetary goals.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure that all production areas are clean and sanitary, and that all workers adhere to food safety protocols.

This position requires management experience in a food production environment, with a preference for candidates with a four-year degree.

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a food production environment.
• Experience working with USDA regulations and standards required.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Management or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food production processes, equipment, and technologies.
