We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Superintendent to oversee the daily operations of a food manufacturing facility. The Production Superintendent will manage four supervisors and a team of 120 employees to ensure efficient production processes, quality standards, and safety protocols are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing and excellent leadership abilities. A four-year degree is not required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management:
• Supervise and provide direction to four production supervisors.
• Manage and oversee a team of 120 employees, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Develop and implement training programs for supervisors and employees.
• Production Oversight:
• Ensure production schedules are met and align with company standards.
• Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain high standards of quality control and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and manufacturing regulations.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Use data and metrics to drive decision-making and track progress.
• Reporting and Communication:
• Report directly to the Plant Manager, providing regular updates on production status, challenges, and achievements.
• Prepare and present production reports and performance metrics.
• Facilitate effective communication between management and production teams.

• Prior experience in food manufacturing is required.
• Proven leadership experience managing supervisors and large teams.
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality control in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
