Job Description

 

Seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in manufacturing and demonstrated leadership abilities. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of up to 20 direct reports, ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely.

 Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers.
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and efficiency targets.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production workflow.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety procedures and regulations.
  • Address any production issues or concerns promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and quality assurance, to resolve operational challenges.
  • Track production metrics and report on key performance indicators to management.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment required.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
