Job Description

As a production supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing manufacturing operations and managing a team of 30 employees. Here's an overview of your responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising day-to-day manufacturing activities to ensure production goals are met efficiently and safely.
  • Providing guidance, support, and coaching to team members to optimize their performance and productivity.
  • Monitoring production processes to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as quality assurance and maintenance, to resolve production issues and improve processes.
  • Reporting to the production superintendent on key performance indicators, production metrics, and any issues that arise.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or production environments in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address challenges and optimize production processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • While a degree may not be required, relevant certifications or coursework in manufacturing, management, or related fields can be beneficial.
