The Production Supervisor is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership, work direction, and supervision to production employees in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures that production operations run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements. The supervisor oversees production scheduling, monitors operational performance, and serves as a point of escalation for the team while coaching and developing employees to achieve operational and performance goals.

• Schedule, assign, and direct work for production employees to ensure smooth workflow and achievement of daily production targets
• Monitor all stages of the production process to ensure compliance with production, quality, and safety standards
• Oversee production equipment to ensure proper operation, cleanliness, and sanitation; coordinate timely repairs and issue resolution as needed
• Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety rules and regulations, conducting incident investigations, and supporting safety training and meetings
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory requirements; administer applicable operational policies and procedures
• Manage production scheduling to ensure appropriate quantities and product mix are produced to meet demand, service levels, and productivity goals
• Ensure materials such as ingredients and packaging are staged and available for upcoming production runs
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and control costs
• Foster positive employee relations by applying work rules and employment policies consistently and fairly; partner with Human Resources as needed to resolve employee issues
• Communicate effectively with employees through shift meetings and ongoing, informal communication
• Complete supervisory responsibilities including timekeeping review, performance evaluations, employee development, training, coaching, and mentoring
• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, and federal health and safety regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within food and/or beverage production
• Prior leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience required
• Certifications or licenses may be required during the course of employment
