Job Title: Quality Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Quality Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring high-quality standards, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a comprehensive understanding of quality control processes in a manufacturing environment. 

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Leadership:

Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Lead and guide the quality assurance team in maintaining and improving product quality.

Team Management:

Manage a team of 10 quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement changes.

Utilize data-driven approaches to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Compliance and Audits:

Ensure that the manufacturing processes adhere to relevant industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits to verify compliance.

Supplier Quality Management:

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming raw materials and components.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in quality.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including standard operating procedures, inspection records, and quality reports.

Generate regular reports on key quality metrics and present findings to upper management.

• Proven experience in quality management within the food or beverage manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Knowledge of quality control processes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• A 4-year degree is not required, but relevant work experience in a similar role is essential.
• Previous experience managing a team in a quality assurance role within the food or beverage manufacturing sector is required.
