Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Specialist to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in regulatory compliance within the food and/or pet industry and a proven track record of ensuring compliance with FDA, USDA, and related regulations. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage and oversee regulatory compliance processes for food and/or pet industry products.
  • Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documents to ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and other applicable standards.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, updating processes and documentation as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing) to ensure products meet regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed regulatory reports using Excel and Power Platform tools.
  • Provide guidance on labeling, claims, and product approvals to internal teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of regulatory compliance experience in the food and/or pet industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and other Power Platform tools with the ability to create and analyze reports.
  • Proven success in regulation processing for FDA and USDA standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
