$90k - $110k + 10% bonus

Reporting Structure:

• Reports directly to the HR Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Safety Program Management:

• Develop, implement, and manage safety programs and policies in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Regularly assess and update safety procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

1. Employee Training:

• Conduct safety training sessions for employees, focusing on promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
• Keep records of employee participation in safety training programs.

1. Incident Investigation:

• Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future risks.

1. Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay abreast of changes in safety regulations and ensure the organization's compliance with all relevant standards.
• Work closely with regulatory agencies as necessary.

1. Safety Inspections and Audits:

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Collaborate with department managers to address safety concerns.

1. Emergency Response Planning:

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and coordination with local emergency services.

1. Communication:

• Communicate regularly with employees to promote a culture of safety and address any safety-related concerns.
• Prepare and distribute safety-related information and updates.

1. Recordkeeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to safety training, incidents, and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in safety management, with a requirement for prior manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, protocols, and best practices.
