We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to lead and implement workplace safety programs in a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, developing proactive safety initiatives, and fostering a culture of safety excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of workplace safety practices within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to comply with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Lead safety training programs and ensure employee engagement in safety initiatives.
• Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and analyze safety performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with leadership and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Ensure compliance with all safety-related reporting and documentation requirements.
• Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Qualifications & Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree required (Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred).
• Manufacturing experience required (experience in any manufacturing sector will be considered).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other workplace safety standards.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Ability to influence and drive safety initiatives without direct authority.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification is a plus.
• Experience leading safety programs in a manufacturing setting.
