Job Description

 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Specialist. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about workplace safety and looking for a long-term career with strong growth potential. The Safety Specialist will play a key role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization. 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety programs in accordance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver safety training sessions and ensure all employees are educated on company safety policies and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; maintain documentation and recommend preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with operations, HR, and management teams to ensure safety is integrated into all areas of the business.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to workplace injuries, safety statistics, and compliance audits.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and changes in safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (required).
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and best safety practices.
  • Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP) are a plus.
