Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive sanitation programs that comply with local, state, and federal regulations as well as industry best practices.
- Conduct regular sanitation audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with all applicable standards.
- Lead, train, and manage a team of sanitation staff, providing them with the guidance and resources needed to perform their duties effectively and safely.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to coordinate sanitation activities and minimize downtime without compromising food safety or quality.
- Stay informed on the latest developments in sanitation technologies and practices, and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage the use and maintenance of sanitation equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used correctly and are in good working condition.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on sanitation activities, findings from audits and inspections, and corrective actions taken.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any sanitation emergencies or issues that arise, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Job Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a sanitation or quality role within the food manufacturing industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
