Job Description



  1. Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of 100 employees, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  1. Operations Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
  • Develop and implement effective warehouse procedures to optimize workflow and minimize errors.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities and meet overall organizational goals.
  1. Inventory Control:
  • Implement and maintain inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to identify and address discrepancies.
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to manage inventory replenishment and maintain optimal stock levels.
  1. Safety and Compliance:
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions and drills for warehouse staff.
  • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, taking corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  1. Technology and Systems:
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to streamline operations.
  • Stay informed about industry advancements and recommend system upgrades or changes to enhance efficiency.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the warehouse budget.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize expenses while maintaining operational excellence.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback from team members and implementing relevant changes.
  1. Communication:
  • Maintain open and transparent communication channels within the warehouse team and with other departments.
  • Report regularly to senior management on key performance metrics, challenges, and achievements.
  1. Customer Service:
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, working to improve customer satisfaction.
  1. Problem Solving:

Proactively identify and address challenges in the warehouse, collaborating with cross-functional teams to find effective solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or warehousing is required.
