Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Directly manage a team of 6 warehouse personnel.

Indirectly oversee and coordinate activities for a team of 100 individuals.

Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to ensure team productivity and efficiency.

Cold Storage Management:

Possess expertise in managing cold storage facilities.

Implement and maintain proper temperature controls and storage protocols for perishable goods.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to cold storage operations.

Operational Oversight:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Implement efficient inventory management practices to optimize space utilization and minimize errors.

Quality Control:

Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the integrity of stored goods.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, production, and quality assurance, to streamline processes and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Employee Development:

Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team-building activities.

Provide training and development opportunities for warehouse staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage budgets for warehouse operations, ensuring cost-effective practices and resource utilization.

Technology Utilization:

Stay abreast of advancements in warehouse management technology and implement relevant systems to improve efficiency.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations governing warehouse operations, including safety and environmental standards.

• 10+ years of leadership experience in warehouse management.
• Proven experience in managing teams, both directly and indirectly.
• Expertise in cold storage operations.
• Prior experience in the food or beverage manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant warehouse management systems and technology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
